This March will be the one-year anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami that took such a devastating toll on Japan. We are organizing a return trip over this period that will give us more time in the Tohoku region to assist. Although plans are still be arranged, we will likely fly from the states on March 9 into Sendai; spend four nights while doing volunteer activities during the day; then travel via bullet train to Tokyo for a few more nights before returning home around March 17. It is important to be in the Tohoku region on March 11 so that we can show our support and express to the Japanese people that they have not been forgotten.
