Supporting SMART

Imagine what it must be like to be without books in your school or library.

Please join SMART and the Flight of Friendship in helping replace the thousands of lost books for the children of New Orleans.

SMART (Start Making A Reader Today), Oregon’s leading nonprofit early literacy organization, gives thousands of K-3 children the one-on-one support they need to learn to read and build brighter futures. 

We are very grateful to SMART for agreeing to support this effort by sending books for the children in the neighborhoods most affected. . . the lower 9th Ward.
