Supporting Mercy Corps’ Work in the Gulf Coast

$10,000 allows for the sustainable “deconstruction” of a historic house.

$5,000 supports community outreach and block captain programs in the neighborhoods that track residents who hope to return, and shares plans for emergency preparedness, housing reconstruction, and civic engagement initiatives.

$4,800 provides an apprentice with three months of training in the construction trade with the final goal of permanent placement.

$2,500 helps a micro-entrepreneur replace critical business assets lost to the storm.

$1,000 ensures access to financial planning services for an estimated 350 low-income individuals and families in the Lower 9th Ward per month.

$250 contributes to the purchase of books and supplies for libraries and schools critical to the revival of New Orleans’ neighborhoods.

$100 supports to green rebuilding initiatives in hard-hit, economically depressed communities.

$25 provides access to emotional health and well-being resources for children and their caregivers.
